Abstract

The computerized generation of equations of motion is presented for a simple vehicle with rigid wheels representing a nonholonomic system. Then, the stochastic excitation process of a spatial road, the equations of motion of a complex automobile vehicle, the human sensation of mechanical vibrations and numerical methods for the analysis of random vehicle vibrations are discussed.
