Zusammenfassung
Das Beurteilen der Bauchorgane ist eines der Hauptanliegen nahezu jeder allgemeinen ärztlichen Untersuchung. Auch wenn die zu behandelnde Erkrankung primär nichts mit dem Bauchraum zu tun hat, sollte man vor jeder Narkose, aber auch schon vor der Verordnung von Arzneimitteln wenigstens ein grobes Urteil über die Bauchorgane gewonnen haben. Selbst Fachärzte eines „entfernten“ ‘Gebiets (Augen, HNO usw.) müssen den Patienten zumindest nach Erkrankungen der Bauchorgane befragen und mögliche Nebenwirkungen bedenken, bevor sie ein Medikament verschreiben.
