Abstract

The present section is a continuation of the study of the Freudenthal triangulation F which was initiated in Section 6. We have already developed a set of representation and replacement rules for F. Nevertheless, herein, we shall develop others, in fact, for each n-simplex we shall have n+1 representations, only one of which is from iFn. Although it might seem that one is enough, there is no doubt that the overall development is immensely enhanced with the additional representations. In this section we study features of F that are more conveniently examined in the presence of the alternative representations.
