Zusammenfassung
Taktische Medizin ist der Oberbegriff für ein System der präklinischen Versorgung, bei dem aufgrund einer besonderen Rahmenlage angepasste Prinzipien zur Anwendung kommen. Charakteristisch ist, dass die Versorgung in definierten Phasen durchgeführt wird und auch die medizinischen Maßnahmen an die Situation adaptiert werden. Dabei haben die taktischen Erfordernisse entscheidenden Einfluss auf die medizinischen Maßnahmen, im Extremfall können diese gar nicht oder nur eingeschränkt durchgeführt werden. Die medizinische Versorgung konzentriert sich auf die zum jeweiligen Zeitpunkt zur Lebensrettung oder Vermeidung weiteren Schadens zwingend erforderlichen Maßnahmen. Diese werden sich in der taktischen Medizin sehr oft auf ballistische Verletzungen beziehen. Die permanente Berücksichtigung der (Bedrohungs-)Lage und das Stillen kritischer Blutungen sind zwei Kernpunkte beim »Tactical Combat Casualty Care« (TCCC).
