Zusammenfassung
Die medizinische Einsatzplanung ist entscheidende Voraussetzung für den Erfolg eines Einsatzes. Grundsätzlich muss zwischen geplanten Operationen mit ausreichendem Vorlauf, sozusagen einem elektiven Eingriff, oder der kurzfristigen Reaktion auf eine bereits existente Lage differenziert werden. Da »medical planning« bei geringem zeitlichem Vorlauf nur noch eingeschränkt möglich ist, sind in diesen Fällen standardisierte, jedoch ausreichend flexible Einsatzverfahren (SOP) und die möglichst umfassende Erfassung der vorher ermittelbaren Rahmenbedingungen entscheidend. Einsatzplanung muss prinzipiell immer mindestens zwei Lagen berücksichtigen und im Rahmen der Möglichkeiten ausplanen: Einerseits die optimierte, bestmögliche Individualversorgung eines oder weniger Verwundeter und andererseits die Eventualfallplanung für den »worst case«.
