Zusammenfassung
Als Vorbemerkung zu diesem Kapitel ist wichtig, dass die Anlagen eines Kindes vom ersten Lebenstag an durch Interaktionen mit seiner Umwelt moduliert werden. Temperament ist nicht diskutabel ohne ein transaktionales Anlage-Umwelt-Modell, welches den wechselseitigen Einfluss von kindlicher Disposition und Umwelt berücksichtigt; z. B. bedeuten gravierende exogene Einflüsse einen massiven Eingriff in das Bedingungsgefüge der regelhaften kindlichen Persönlichkeitsentwicklung. In diesem Beitrag werden die Mechanismen, durch die Traumata eine Desintegration des kindlichen Erlebens herbeiführen und selbst grundlegende psychophysiologische Verhaltensdispositionen verändern können nicht erläutert, dennoch existieren sie. Erst aus einer Synthese der einzelnen Komponenten erwächst eine integrative Vorstellung der kindlichen Persönlichkeitsentwicklung mit ihren gesellschaftlichen und soziokulturellen Implikationen. Dieser Beitrag fokussiert mit dem Temperament den dispositionalen Anteil, der – neben Interaktions- und Umwelterfahrungen – durchaus von Bedeutung ist und Aufmerksamkeit verdient hat.
