Zusammenfassung

Mehr als 85% aller bösartigen Nierentumoren sind Nierenzellkarzinome. Sarkome, Nephroblastome, Lymphome und Metastasen anderer Organtumoren sind selten, aber differenzialdiagnostisch zu berücksichtigen.

Der Beitrag widmet sich neben den Risikofaktoren für dieses urologische Malignom der Diagnostik und Therapie sowie der Prognose und den Erfordernissen der Nachsorge. Breiten Raum nehmen auch die Pathologie und Klassifikation ein. Spezielle Erwähnung finden das Rezidiv sowie das metastasierte Nierenzellkarzinom.
