Zusammenfassung
Die prozessorientierte Organisation hat zur Aufgabe, eine „optimale“ Ausführung der Prozesse zu ermöglichen. Dazu gilt es, die Unternehmensprozesse bezüglich der Kosten, Zeit und Qualität bestmöglich zu gestalten. Dabei darf sich die Betrachtung aber nicht auf die reine Funktionsabfolge beschränken. Vielmehr entscheidet auch die Aufgabenverteilung, d. h. welche Stellen die Funktionen ausführen und wie diese Stellen in die Aufbauorganisation des Unternehmens eingebunden sind, ob aufbauorganisatorische Schnittstellen den Prozessablauf behindern.
