Zusammenfassung
Dynamische Entscheidungssituationen, in denen die Spieler ihre Handlungen von Informationen abhängig machen können, die sie erst im Verlauf ihrer Interaktion erhalten, lassen sich am einfachsten mit Hilfe eines Spielbaums (der extensiven Form eines Spieles) analysieren. Häufig lässt sich das Gesamtspiel in einzelne Teilspiele zerlegen. An einem bestimmten Entscheidungsknoten X des Spiels Γ fängt ein Teilspiel Γx an, wenn der Teil des Baums, der in X beginnt, mit dem Rest des Spiels ausschließlich über diesen Knoten X verknüpft ist.
