Die Lösung eines Entscheidungsproblems ist in der Praxis oft zeitaufwändig. Dies hat damit zu tun, dass zwischen der Problementdeckung und der Wahl der zu realisierenden Variante vielfältige Überlegungen anzustellen sind: Das Problem muss begriffen werden, Problemlösungen sind zu erkennen und die beste Variante ist zu evaluieren.
