Zusammenfassung
Die Fähigkeit von Unternehmen, Krisen jedweder Art so abzufedern und zu verarbeiten, dass die Existenz der Organisation nicht gefährdet wird, sondern sogar neue Perspektiven entwickelt werden können, beruht nach dem jetzigen Stand des Fachdiskurses auf einem ganzen Bündel von Faktoren. Eine Fähigkeit, die maßgeblich bestimmt, wie robust sich ein Unternehmen erweist, ist die Fähigkeit zur Beobachtung sowohl des Organisationsumfeldes als auch der eigenen Position sowie die entscheidungsrelevante Verarbeitung beider Beobachtungen innerhalb der Organisation bzw. des Unternehmens (vgl. Coutu 2002, S. 48; McManus 2007, S. 6 f.; Stephenson 2010, S. 181; Heitger und Serfass 2011, S. 24).
