Zusammenfassung
Die Ärztliche Approbationsordnung (ÄAppO) von 2002 forderte die Medizinischen Fakultäten in Deutschland auf, ihre Prüfungskonzepte besser an die tatsächlich erforderlichen Fertigkeiten der ärztlichen Tätigkeit abzustimmen [1]. Traditionell eingesetzte Prüfungsverfahren wie schriftliche und mündliche Prüfungen können den Dimensionen der ärztlichen Kompetenzen nur teilweise gerecht werden. Aus diesem Grund spielt das Assessment im Bereich der medizinischen Aus-, Weiter- und Fortbildung sowie in der Lehr- und Lernforschung eine besondere Rolle [2], [3]. Prüfungen können Lernenden helfen, individuelle Bedürfnisse und Schwächen zu erkennen und darauf zu reagieren [4].
