Zusammenfassung
Die praktische Weiterbildung von Chirurgen hat sich im Laufe der letzten Jahrzehnte deutlich gewandelt. Während früher eine traditionelle Lehrer-Schüler-Beziehung vorherrschte und der junge Chirurg im Operationssaal durch den Lehrer an die Operationen herangeführt wurde, kommt heutzutage der Simulation und dem Training von Techniken vor Eintritt in den OP-Saal eine immer größere Bedeutung zu.
