Zusammenfassung
Das Nervensystem des Menschen überwacht und steuert sämtliche Körperfunktionen. Es ist für die Verarbeitung sensorischer Information aus der Umwelt und dem Organismus selbst sowie für die Aktivierung und Koordination der Motorik verantwortlich. Die Anteile, die Information von außen und aus dem Bewegungsapparat erhalten bzw. die Skelettmuskulatur steuern, werden als somatisches Nervensystem bezeichnet.
