Der in ► Kap. 14 beschriebene, weitverzweigte Stoffwechsel der Glucose unterliegt einer komplizierten Regulation. Diese setzt bereits auf der Stufe der Glucoseaufnahme in die Zellen ein. Die Konzentration an Glucose-6-Phosphat, als dem zentralen Ausgangspunkt des Glucosestoffwechsels, wird vielfältig kontrolliert.
