Zusammenfassung
Die Entwicklungsdiagnostik befasst sich mit der Frage, wie weit ein Kind entwickelt ist. Es geht dabei zum einen um die Charakterisierung des bisherigen Entwicklungsverlaufs, zum anderen aber auch um die Frage, welche Voraussetzungen für die weitere Entwicklung gegeben sind. Ziel ist also sowohl die Bestimmung des gegenwärtigen Status quo als auch die Abgabe von Vorhersagen für den künftigen Entwicklungsverlauf.
