Die untere Lendenwirbelsäule ist nicht etwa eine bloße Verlängerung des thorakolumbalen übergangs nach kaudal. Vielmehr folgt sie teils erheblich unterschiedlichen Gesetzmäßigkeiten und erfordert daher eigenständige Behandlungsstrategien.
