The cannabinoids are benzopyran derivatives. Only ∆9, 10-tetrahydro-cannabinol (THC) shows hallucinogenic activity. The type and quantity of the constituents depend on the geographical origin of the drug, climatic conditions of growth, time of harvesting and storage conditions.
