Abstract

In this chapter we present exact analytical approach to studying the dynamical behaviour of certain classes of two-level and three-level hamiltonian systems in a quantized e.m. field. These classes encompass most of commonly encountered systems of interest in quantum optics. This chapter is based largely on [101].
