Abstract
MPEG-7 is the name given to the international standard created by ISO/IEC for description of multimedia. The formal name is ISO/IEC/JTC1/SC29/WG11 15938, parts 1 through 8 [1]. These eight parts are an attempt to address, in a comprehensive manner, everything from how to describe multimedia, to how to transmit or record those descriptions.
