Abstract
Grid computing is concerned with the sharing and coordinated use of diverse resources in distributed “virtual organizations (VOs).” The dynamic and multi-institutional nature of these environments introduces challenging security issues that demand new technical approaches. This paper reflects the challenges and requirements we have identified thus far in an OGSA environment and we proposes a strategy for addressing security within the Open Grid Services Architecture (OGSA) and the OGSA Authentication Services based on the defined architecture.
