Zusammenfassung
Dieser Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit den Möglichkeiten, wie ökologische, d. h. die natürliche Umwelt betreffende Aspekte im Wirtschaftssystem der modernen Gesellschaft Berücksichtigung finden können. Diese Thematik enthält zwei interessante Teilaspekte. Erstens geht es um die Frage, inwiefern das Wirtschaftssystem innerhalb unterschiedlicher Theorietraditionen als resonanzfähig für ökologische Kommunikation erachtet wird. Zweitens geht es aber auch um die weitergehende Frage, ob damit ein grundlegender Strukturwandel des Wirtschaftssystems selbst einhergeht, etwa im Sinne einer umfangreichen Ökologisierung von Märkten und Produktionsweisen.
Für eine anregende Diskussion danke ich den Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern des Workshops „Ükologische Aufklärung“ (März 2009 in Hamburg), der diesem Buch vorausging.
