Zusammenfassung
In der Soziologie spielt der Begriff der Gemeinschaft schon bei Emil Durkheim und Max Weber eine wichtige Rolle. In der amerikanischen Soziologie hat vor allem Talcott Parsons das Konzept der Gemeinschaft als Gegenpol zur Gesellschaft ausformuliert. Die Gesellschaft wird als anonymes, generelles, leistungsorientiertes, mit klaren Regeln versehenes Gebilde gesehen, wären die Gemeinschaft personenorientiert ist, eigenschaftszentriert und gefühlshaft sich als Raum der individuellen Gestaltung erweist.
