Zusammenfassung
Der erste Abschnitt dieses Kapitels (3.1) behandelt die analytischen Dimensionen des Politikfelds Familie und bezieht sich dabei, soweit nicht anders angegeben, auf die kontinentaleuropäischen, expliziten Familienpolitiken Deutschlands und Österreichs. Dabei werden zunächst Charakteristika der Familienpolitik im Politikfeldvergleich, ihre Ursprünge sowie Ziele und Instrumente betrachtet. Der folgende Abschnitt (3.2) beschäftigt sich mit der Wohlfahrtsproduktion zwischen Staat, Markt und Familie und vergleicht danach die zentralen Typologien der vergleichenden Wohlfahrtsstaats- und Familienpolitikforschung. Hierauf aufbauend werden (3.3) familienpolitische Veränderungen zwischen Re- und De- Familialisierung verortet und hierüber eine Konzeptionalisierung für das anschließende Kapitel 4 vorgenommen.
