Zusammenfassung
Entwickelt sich die R2P zu einer legitimen und darüber hinaus handlungsanleitenden Norm der internationalen Politik? Dies ist die Frage, die es nun empirisch zu beantworten gilt. Im vorangegangenen Kapitel konnte zunächst verdeutlicht werden, dass die Handlungsanleitung von Normen aus ihrer intersubjektiven Gültigkeit und ihrem Verpflichtungscharakter resultieren, welche aber immer prinzipiell umstritten sind. Aus theoretischer Sicht ist dies vor allem die Konsequenz der ontologischen Gleichberechtigung von Struktur und Akteur und damit einhergehend eines auf Interaktion abzielenden Begriffs der wechselseitigen Konstitution.
