Zusammenfassung
Eine der Schlüsselfragen in der öffentlichen wie in der wissenschaftlichen Diskussion ist es, ob die Zuwanderung von Arbeitskräften zu sinkenden Löhnen und steigender Arbeitslosigkeit führt. Nach dem ersten Ölpreisschock von 1973 und der darauffolgenden Rezession hat Deutschland die Anwerbung von ArbeitnehmerInnen aus dem Ausland mit dem Argument gestoppt, dass Migration zu steigender Arbeitslosigkeit führe.
