Zusammenfassung

Kleinstkredite, im Englischen Micro-Credits, sind Kredite über niedrige Beträge, welche an bedürftige Personen vorwiegend in Entwicklungsländern vergeben werden. Micro-Credits werden dort vergeben, wo es für Banken zu teuer ist, den Ärmsten Kredite zur Verfügung zu stellen. Zumeist sind die Kreditgeber lokale Nichtregierungsorganisationen, aber es gibt auch Peer-to-Peer Netzwerke, welche Micro-Credits online vermitteln.
