Zusammenfassung
Beschäftigt man sich mit dem Erzählen, ist es oft nicht von großem Belang, ob eine Darstellung fiktional ist oder auf tatsächlichem Erleben basiert. Manchmal kommt dieser Frage jedoch zentrale Bedeutung zu. In Strafverfahren beispielsweise, in denen Aussage gegen Aussage steht und es keine weiteren Zeugenaussagen, keine Spuren oder andere Sachbeweise gibt, hängt die Entscheidung, ob eine Verurteilung auszusprechen ist oder nicht, letztlich ausschließlich von der Frage ab, ob man die belastende Aussage für zutreffend hält oder nicht. Bei besonders schwierigen Fallkonstellationen beauftragen Gerichte psychologische Sachverständige in diesen Fällen mit sogenannten Glaubhaftigkeitsgutachten.
