Abstract
Concurrent logic programming has become a favorite approach in the eager attempt to combine parallel computer architectures with high-level programming languages. In recent years, a variety of concurrent logic programming languages together with numerous novel programming techniques have been developed and investigated. Main research activities thereby concentrate on applications concerned with system programming, as these languages are especially suitable for expressing concurrent behaviour and implementing parallel algorithms.
