Technologievielfalt zwingt Unternehmen, sich auf ihre Kernkompetenzen zu konzentrieren. Übertriebene Konzentration auf bestehende Fähigkeiten führt aber zu Starrheit und manchmal sogar zum Übersehen neuer Entwicklungen. Bewusste Technologiebeobachtung kann hier Abhilfe schaffen.
