eDistribution verhilft zu einer erheblichen Beschleunigung und besseren Kontrolle der Vertriebsprozesse mit Hilfe digitaler Erfassung der Bestelldaten. Der Kernbereich der eDistribution stellt die eLogistik dar, welche die strategische Planung und Entwicklung aller fir die elektronische Geschäftsabwicklung erforderlichen Logistiksysteme und -prozesse sowie deren administrative und operative Ausgestaltung für die physische Abwicklung beinhaltet. Sie leistet damit die schnelle, effiziente, flexible und in ihrer Leis-tungsfähigkeit stabile End-to-End-Realisierung aller logistischen Prozesse, die nach der Online-Bestellung einsetzen und bei der Auslieferung der Waren enden, entsprechend den individuellen Bedürfnissen sowohl von Privat- als auch von Firmenkunden.186
