Zusammenfassung
Motivation ist eines der faszinierendsten menschlichen Phänomene. Manche Menschen vollbringen sportliche, soziale, berufliche oder kulturelle Höchstleistungen — und das sogar trotz widriger Umstände. Symbolisch hierfür steht Sisyphos. Er musste als Strafe der Götter einen Felsblock auf einen Berg wälzen. Kurz vor dem Gipfel rollt der Felsblock immer wieder hinab. Trotzdem lässt er sich nicht entmutigen. Andere Menschen sind dagegen nur schwer für bestimmte Aufgaben oder Ziele zu interessieren oder zu begeistern. Sie vegetieren dahin.
