Zusammenfassung
Was immer man sich unter „Wirtschaften” konkret vorstellt, es ist nur in der Gesellschaft möglich, und wirtschaftliches Handeln ist damit zugleich auch immer soziales Handeln. Umgekehrt gilt nicht, daß soziales, also, einer Definition Webers folgend, sinnhaft auf das Handeln anderer bezogenes Handeln, immer auch wirtschaftliches Handeln ist. Akzeptiert man diesen Grundsatz, dann wäre eine betriebswirtschaftliche Theorie der Unternehmung immer nur so gut, wie sie an den Erkenntnisstand der Theorie der Gesellschaft angepaßt und anschlußfähig ist.1
