Zusammenfassung
Die Fouriertransformation f → Ff mit Ff(x) = (2π)−n/2 ∫ e−ixy f(y) dy ist das wichtigste Hilfsmittel zur Untersuchung von Differentialoperatoren in L2(ℝm). Sie ist in natürlicher Weise auf L1(ℝm) definiert und bildet den Schwarzschen Raum der schnellfallenden Funktionen S(ℝm) bijektiv auf sich ab, wobei die L2-Norm erhalten bleibt. Deshalb läßt sie sich eindeutig zu einer unitären Abbildung in L2(ℝm) fortsetzen.
