Abstract
In this chapter of our pilgrimage, we engage with embodied and embedded learning. We meet Sofia, one of Laura’s students, and get glimpses of how transformation is a whole body and deeply embedded experience. Laura further develops her dialogue with Gregory Bateson about different levels of learning, and the systemic perspective, as well as complexity theory. We explore the idea of learning as an emergent feature of multiple levels of interaction . Transformation never happens within the individual organism alone but involves significant and proximal webs of relationships, groups and organizations; as well as changes in the broader society and ecosystem.
