Zusammenfassung
Eine in der ganzen komplexen Ebene C holomorphe Funktion g heißt ganze Funktion. Eine solche Funktion besitzt bekanntlich eine in der ganzen Ebene konvergente Taylorreihenentwicklung \(g\left( z \right) = \sum\limits_{n = 0}^\infty {{a_n}{z^n}}\). Hat diese Reihe nur end-lich viele Glieder, so nennt man g Polynom oder ganz rational, hat sie unendlich viele Glieder, so heißt g ganz transzendent.
