Abstract
Modified syntheses of hydrazinium mono- and dihalogenides are described. DTA of these compounds showed an exothermic effect in the temperature region between 125° and 270°C. This effect was found to be consequence of the disproportionation reaction of hydrazinium ion.The formed products were identified by chemical analysis and infrared spectra. On the basis of the observed thermal properties of the mentioned halogenides the use of hydrazinium chloride or bromide for the preparation of inorganic halogen compounds in the melt is suggested.
