Abstract

Since the 1970s, the United Arab Emirates has experienced rapid social and economic development, resulting in significant economic growth and increased growth rates in the average per capita share. This has led to an improvement in the standard of living for citizens, expatriates, and residents in the UAE. The study aimed to explore the impact of information and communication technology on sustainable development indicators and found that the IT industry contributes to economic development and job opportunities. The variables with the most significant influence on the growth of the average per capita share of GDP were found to be spending on Research and Development and population growth.
