Abstract
The Internet of Things is a relatively new field of information technology that is now the subject of intensive study. The Internet of Things has seen widespread implementation in public transportation networks in recent years. During 2021's peak epidemic year, the IoT serves as a reliable non-contact carrier, which aids in the prevention and management of COVID-19. In the post-epidemic phase, it will be essential to enhance, innovate, and use intelligent transportation based on existing IoT technologies to combat COVID-19 and preserve people's safety. Using a literature review approach, this article will investigate how the Internet of Things (IoT) technologies including 5G, vehicle tracking and detection, convolutional neural networks, V2X communication, and formation control are used in smart transportation. A discussion is made on how the technologies above may be used to achieve rational case allocation and medical resource use and establish a coordinated and joint control system for significant public health emergencies.
