Abstract
Strengthening the role of the information economy in global and intercountry processes produces the need to adopt a new paradigm for the development of society. The transformation of the paradigm has social consequences for the country, business structures, and the population. The study of the social consequences of the information economy produces the relevance of the research topic. The paper aims to shape the social consequences of the information economy. The authors considered the characteristics of the information economy and determined the forms of manifestation of the information economy. Moreover, the authors indicate the key subjects of the information economy, which are socially influenced; the social consequences of the information economy are formed. The research toolkit includes the method of grouping, the method of comparison, the method of classification by a single criterion, the method of the proposal based on the selected problematics, and the method of event modeling.
