Abstract
In the chapter, the author examines the US priorities for arms control with Russia, and globally, along with recent events affecting the US position and its alignment with Europe in the current security environment. It also provides details on recent development regarding bilateral, regional, and global arms control and security policy, and their potential impact on talks.
