Abstract

Redheads—the flame haired, ginger, auburn, and carrot-tops amongst us—have been heavily maligned in literature and in art. Our project has been to investigate how redheads are represented, misrepresented, ostracized, or included, and to laud. The wealth of la différance that is, to those of the crimson hair, both a blessing and a curse. A Vindication of Redheads invites others to mine for more gems than uncovered in its study;
