Abstract

Management science and engineering management (MSEM) have significantly contributed to socio-economic and industrial management and control developments. In this paper, the basic concepts covered in the fifteenth ICMSEM proceedings Volume II are first described, after which a review of engineering management (EM) research is conducted to identify the key areas, with sustainable development, project management and operation optimization having been the most widely discussed. Then, the related research in proceedings volume II are discussed. After description of the related research achievements, the research trends both from MSEM journals and the ICMSEM are summarized using the CiteSpace tool. As always, ICMSEM is committed to providing an international forum for academic exchange and communication to ensure innovative future MSEM progress.
