Abstract

Navigation and positioning applications are playing an increasingly important role in the development of the national economy and the improvement of people’s lives. Most of the existing navigation and positioning applications show the characteristics of singleness and specificity, and cannot provide comprehensive services for multiple enterprises or the public. This requires research on new technologies and development of integrated navigation and positioning integrated systems that serve the public. In this regard, the purpose of this article is to study car navigation systems based on cloud computing technology. This article first discusses the current situation of my country’s car navigation and the main problems. Then, through the method of questionnaire survey, to understand the car owner’s like and cognition of the existing car navigation system, so as to more truly understand the car owner’s view of the car navigation system. After that, this paper analyzes the related theories and technologies of cloud computing, and demonstrates the theory and technical foundation of cloud computing technology. This article focuses on cloud computing technology and combines its operational characteristics in navigation and positioning applications to design and implement a “cloud computing technology navigation system”. This system has multiple functions such as business strategy support, resource monitoring, service migration, and rapid business deployment, and upgrades local navigation and positioning applications for specific groups of people to comprehensive navigation and positioning applications for multiple organizations. In addition, this article uses the communication module to transfer the collected data to the cloud computing platform for processing and analysis. The terminal navigation data analysis and processing module can complete the map display of the path with less fuel consumption. Finally, this article compares the cloud computing navigation system with the traditional navigation system, and analyzes the actual application effect of the cloud computing navigation system. The experimental results show that the car navigation system using cloud computing technology is more recognized and loved by car owners, and the accuracy of the cloud computing navigation system is increased by about 20%, the navigation effect and safety factor are better, and it will be more effective for car navigation products. R&D has certain practical reference value.
