Abstract

The network intervention has caused some unavoidable problems to the networked control system, such as network induction delay, packet loss, communication protocol selection, drive mode, network scheduling, etc., which will have an impact on the performance of the control system. Based on the Truetime simulation toolbox, this paper constructs a networked control system simulation model by using PD controller, with DC servo motor as the controlled object, in order to investigate the effect of time delay on the performance of network control system and the the effects of several other factors on the networked control system performance under certain time delay condition.
