Abstract

With the popularization and application of modern technology, teachers from colleges and universities integrate various information technology into the English teaching in college. The teaching methods which are based on the modern technology have the advantages of rich teaching resources, strong interaction, convenient and rapid data processing, etc. By the use of all sorts of technology, like the mobile terminals and various online teaching software and platforms, the whole teaching process can truly be optimized. Through the optimization and construction of teaching goals, tasks, contents, forms, methods and ways of evaluation, the classroom teaching effect is improved. It also improves the comprehensive application ability of students in English and promotes the reform of English teaching in college.
