Tenosynovial giant cell tumors (TGCT) actually are a family of neoplasms most often arising from the synovium of joints, bursae, and tendon sheaths. There are two subtypes:

Localized tenosynovial giant cell tumor (LTGCT)

Diffuse tenosynovial giant cell tumor (DTGCT)
