Abstract
Although health tourism is basically the same as medical tourism, it has a broader meaning. It not only applies to medical interventions but also to a variety of interventions and applications aimed at maintaining and restoring health. Wellness tourism (a.k.a. health tourism) is a proactive form of medical tourism that promotes health and well-being by getting tourists to engage in physical, psychological, or spiritual activities; is rapidly increasing; and provides attractive packages promoting health and quality of life combined with tourism in luxury resorts.
