Abstract

Scientific progress and automation of many processes contribute to the fact that in the modern world it is necessary to operate with big data. The education system has always generated a significant amount of data. We see the problem only in how to implement Big Data in Universities, because this process associated with gravest cost and time, and how to start working with this data at the system level: analyze it, make decisions based on it. The purpose of the study is to consider issues related to the possibility of implementing big data in the learning process. To achieve this goal, we have studied the theoretical and practical aspects of obtaining and using big data in education; analyzed the main types of Big Data; identified problems and formulated proposals for their elimination; and considered the prospects for implementing big data into the education system.
