Abstract

This paper aims at describing an industrial aerospace application that requires an abnormal situation detection and diagnosis. After detailing the industrial context and needs, it will focus on the problem of aircraft vibration detection and diagnosis associated with aero-elastic phenomena. The goal is (i) to estimate the duration and amplitude of the vibrations in order to compute a Condition Monitoring index to be communicated to the operating airline and to (ii) ease the vibration troubleshooting in order to facilitate the maintenance tasks.
